Denise
I have worked for Denise for three years. She is great. I have always been paid. She does work for various title companies farming out notaries. I agree with Brittney Tobin and say that if you have a question, call her.

the bad news is ...
Once a company with a bad pay history starts posting this nonsense, no one beleives them. You all are in VA, so she has to pay you, or deal with you in person. IME, out of state companies (or notaries) will often stiff the out of state notary, and pay the in state notary. But seriously, this nonsense will probably get deleted as advertising for your non-paying friend.

It is just sad, because the truth is she does pay, and she is a wonderful person.

Now Stephen - it's not.
it is well documented by many that those in the same state have better recourse than those out of state.

Good point. This has gotten childish & personal. Let those who have payment issues call her--you've given the phone #.

Why not just list her in Signing Central ?
Why not just list her in Signing Central instead of all the butt kissing?

Why does that matter?
I've been on Notary Rotary for years and very rarely post. I usually just read what people are saying and store it for future reference. Maybe they just had something to say and figured they'd speak up. JMHO

Re: Why does that matter?
When it comes to judging someone's credibility, all we have to go on are their previous posts and possibly a link to their profile (which may or may not be accurate). Over time, we can get a pretty good idea about a person, even if we don't even know their real name. We can then weigh that comment accordingly, choosing to take that post with a grain of salt or seriously, as appropriate.

Everyone should have to like their profiles to names/aka's
It definitely gives more validity to what is being said.

Does anonymity breed respect or contempt?

Re: Everyone should have to like their profiles to names/aka's
I don't think it has to do either one. Sometimes the post will itself will provoke one or the other, regardless of anonymity. What I think it does breed is doubt and uncertainty. However, I don't think it makes much difference whether or not posts are done under someone's actual name or a consistent moniker. We get to "know" people by what they communicate over time.

Re: Everyone should have to like their profiles to names/aka's
Why should I have to share my opinions or experiences with the world? Maybe I only want to share them in this discussion forum. I don't exactly like the fact that someone can search my name in Google and find out things I've said over at Notary Rotary. For example, talking about a company who bounced a check to me a year ago....maybe that company has cleaned up their act and I would like to delete this message, but I can't. Maybe I don't want to share my stupid mistakes with people searching my name in Google, but I like to confess on here because then I get advice to make myself better at my job. Just some things to think about.

The boy who could not talk.
Couple had a baby boy. Seemed normal, but never spoke. Parents to him to doctors, speech therapists, psychologists, etc, etc. Could not find a problem, but boy never utter a word. On day at breakfast, boy now 12, looked at mom and said. "This oatmeal tastes like $hit." Parents were astounded. Asked boy, "When did you learn to speak?" Boy responded , " I could speak since I was baby, of course" Mom "Well, why have you never spoken? Boy. "Up to now the everything has been ok."

Just so we can prepare ourselves
How long should we expect Denise to continue to send her friends over to pat her on the butt? The rest of the day? A week?

What do you mean pat her on the butt. Don't you know what false words do to people

I agree. You're obviously massaging her boobs, not patting her on the butt.
