Dental and Vision Insurance
I have medical insurance and want to get dental and vision insurance. Does anyone have insurance companies to recommend?

Actually, I do think this is business-related since many of us don't have insurance being self-employed. I, myself, don't have time to be looking thru two different forums. MHO

That is what I thought - sharing information about insurance for the self-imployed is business-related.

Re: Dental and Vision Insurance - you may want to ask your
dentist and/or optometrist for recomendations...usually the person doing the billing can give you the best answer. I asked my dental staff and they said they have not seen one worth the monthly fees (for us self employed) to help offset the dental bills.

Here in my area if you belong to the Chamber of Commerce you can join their Blue Cross plan for the group rate price. You will pay a lower rate b/c it takes into consideration the total number of the members. Most Chamber dues for individuals are around $200.00 per year. With that said, you could be able to save a lot per year for insurance. It may be worth checking into. I do not use this...I just know about it.
