Email from American Title

Has anyone else gotten an email from American Title about updating their vendor database?

I've done a little work for them in the past, and quite a bit for Vision Compliance (which is part of American Title). The document attached to the email says that for signing assignments, notaries must have NNA certification and BGC. This is new to me; they never required that before.

I don't get enough work from them to justify the cost of NNA membership, certification, and BGC, so I declined. That may or may not affect the # of calls I get from Vision Compliance, but that's OK since they've dropped their fees and increased the size of the survey you have to complete and # of pictures required.

I don't ask to be taken off lists, but then again I also

don't ask to be put on lists. It has been my experience that when they need you they will use you regardless of their silly pre-requisites, JMHO

Yep, sent 'em the BGC I have (not XYZ, no, not ever) and haven't heard a peep.
