All I can say about them, is that I m still waiting for payment for a signing done on May 4th and I haven't been paid. I have talked to Mathew Baldwin and he always promised me payment shortly but no, no payment. They got paid by title or escrow. They work with Integrity escrow. I have emailed, talked and faxed my invoice several times and no, nothing. Take it at your own risk, you have been warned.

This was my last communication with him on July 10th, still no check.

"A check will go out to you on Monday. I will email you with the check#.

If the post says Ref# begining with 248 are ESS than it is a mistake. Ref# starting with 247 are ESS and I will make sure future posts will reflect that.

I do apologize it has taken so long for you to receive your payment. It seems that maybe our system for paying out files that have been canceled is flawed in the sense of how long it take the check to go out. I assure you that is the only reason it has taken so long. It was never the intention to stiff you on your payment. We strive to run an efficient professional business.

Once again JOE/NYC, ESS Network and Fairfax Signing are TWO DIFFERENT COMPANIES. I understand you are angry for not being paid. Who wouldnt be? All I ever did was give you every piece of information I had about ESS Network. It is not my fault nor the fault of Fairfax Signing that another company didnt pay you. We did not hire you for your services, they did. Aside from you, a notary that is looking for payment from a COMPLETELY different company than us, and Jose (Calnotary) we have not had ONE complaint about non-payment. Imagine you hired someone to paint your house and never paid them. Then you hired a different company to do the job. Would the 1st company you hired have any right to go to the 2nd company and demand payment? And when they obviously refused would it be acceptable for them to make it their goal to bad mouth the 2nd company every chance they got? The answer is NO.

Jose (Calnotary) When we first spoke I explained to you that your payment was taking so long because of the fact that this file was canceled by the buyer after the signing took place. They had actually already signed with another notary (contracted by us) who has also been patiently waiting for her check. Both of you will have your check by the end of this week. The reason it has taken so long is because the file was canceled. From my experience, most signing companies DONT pay they their notary if the file cancels. But this is not the policy of Fairfax Signing. So I do appologize that the file you completed happened to be one of these circumstances. This happens about once out of every 1000 or so files we do.

Fairfax Signing IS NOT ESS NETWORK and strives to be the opposite.

Fairfax Signing DOES PAY EVERY NOTARY whether the file is canceled or not. With that said, sometimes things happen. Mistakes are made and a check might be late. This does not mean that we are one of those scum signing companies (see ESS NETWORK) If you havent received a check in a timely fashion it is surely not because we are trying to get away without paying you. Give us a call and we will tell you what happened, why your check hasnt been cut yet, and in most circumstances cut your check that day.
