Humor for the day

Received a call from N3 Notary this afternoon..."are you available anytime between this Thur - Mon to meet records clerk at local hospital to complete a questionnaire, notarize a few docs, retrieve a few sets of medical records for return?" Once I realized it was N3, I had no intention of accepting, but out of curiosity, I responded, "possibly, what are you authorized to pay me for those services?" Her response, "we pay $20 for those type of appointments". After a few seconds of regaining my composure, I replied, "I'll pass on that offer, but I'm still going to visit the hospital...I think I pulled something in my back from falling down and laughing so hard." N3, thinking I was joking, "seriously, what amount would you be willing to accept?" I really had to pull it together before responding, "I'm not really interested...I have had problems collecting from N3 in the past & don't work with difficult SS's anymore."

So about 1 hour later, I receive another call from the same girl at N3, "Hi, I spoke to you earlier and I got the fee for records collection, affidavits, and questionnaire moved up to $35, will you accept that amount?" My response..."NO THANKS". Now I'm really off the the hospital...cannot laugh anymore...hurts too bad.

Is the N3 the same as 24/7 Nationwide Notary Network of San Clemente? If the scheduler called you an hour later and offered more money she obviously couldn't fill the order...that's what happens with deadbeat companies. Hopefully they are finding that a history of stiffing subcontractors thus burning bridges has come back to bite them since they have a tougher time filling orders. What goes around always comes around.

I had taken some work from them, more or less on a trial basis. The pattern is lowball, slow pay, lots of hand-holding & more bs than I can take. It's the same yada-yada-yada: they've been in business for x years, etc., etc., etc. When will people learn you can't cover poor business practices with b#$l
s#$t! That is what you'll get from them & plenty of it.
