I am NOT happy
When you take the time to print out a huge loan package, go to the borrowers' house, find that the #'s are all wrong, sit there for an hour trying to contact the title company, loan officer, etc. and finally get the LO, only to be told that "we have to redo all of the docs and sign at a later date." I'm okay with that. BUT.....
When the borrowers specifically ask that you get assigned the re-sign and the title co calls you, waits less than 30 minutes for you to call back, and then reassigns it to another notary???? Totally wrong in my book. They called today for a signing tomorrow.
So I just get a trip/print fee and not the signing fee. Just not right

Bummer rengel. It is too common if the phone is not answered
right away, the scheduler will usually try to get the closer assigned ASAP. I have had companies hang up before it even goes to voice mail because they are in such a hurry to get it off their desk. Sorry you got burned.

Oh I totally understand that they need to get it assigned, BUT when the BO requests you, and it's not until tomorrow? Give me a break!

That's life in this industry. If you don't answer your phone, you lose work.

For what you describe you should get your FULL signing fee. I'd ask for it.

I am waiting for someone to invent a waterproof cell phone!
Then I can take it into the shower. I can get calls as early as 6 AM!

Well, you could try a bluetooth earpiece & a shower cap!!! hahahah (I'm joking here, but I'm sure it's done for real).

I think Verizon has one. One of their "rugged" phones might be waterproof.

Yes, they do make one. I found it by reading Consumer Reports. It's a Verizon Casio model that's water resistant (yes, I can talk in the shower) and doesn't break when I drop it. I highly recommend it.

You guys are funny, a phone in the shower? Don't we need a clone to answer when we can't.
Trying to be a little bit sarcastic (OMG!) I know is hard but it is true signings agencies will assign someone else when you don't answer (happen before to me to and very sure to most of you).
think positive and more will come your way.

I agree with Linda H. I have had conversations with people who flush while they're talking to me and think that is disgusting.
There is no conversation or job worth my stressing while I'm trying to eliminate!! Besides, the only paper available doesn't work that well for note taking.
