I am confused reference Service Link

There has been many statements lately about Service Link and their payment requirements. Question (1) Was/Is Service Link AKA ATM Corporation of America? Information: I completed a signing for Service Link out of Coraopolis,PA on 07/16/09 (last Thursday) followed all instructions including faxing about 9 pages back to them and received payment for the signing today 07/20/09. Yes, do the math--payment before the recession period is up. My confusion/ question (2) is if this is the same company people are talking about sending invoices to them etc, etc. how and why was I paid so quickly.

Not sure you are talking about the same company. The Service Link I have worked for is out of Aliquippa, Pa, and is affiliated with Fidelity National Financial. They usually pay within 2 weeks of receiving invoice. They have their own invoice sheet that they email you for you to use for the whole month.

Probably because you were paid by ATM instead of by ServiceLink directly.

Service Link, National Link and ATM - "same but different"

ATM pays very quickly - National Link and Service Link require monthly statements on or about the 1st of the month. They said they were going to combine systems but apparently have continued somewhat separate operations.

I occasionally work for Service Link. The ATM part of Service Link you have to enter the info to the closing on the website which generates an invoice for that closing. ATM closings I get paid in no more than 2 weeks and mostly do Citi mortgages. If you work for the other part of Serivce Link mostly BOA those closings you have to invoice at the end of the month by mail. I have two different vendor numbers although they are the same co., one for former ATM and one for Service Link.

Interestingly enough I had worked for the former ATM and have been called lately by ServiceLink which says it is located in Coraopolis, PA with the return docs going back to Alquippa, PA. I have done the BOA as well as USAA FSB loans for them.

When I enter the update online I must choose the former ATM vendor tab. I enter the closing update and receive payment promptly.

Today I received payment for the 4 closings I have done so far in July; 2 on the 10th, 15th, and 16th; received check today - 20th. The ones prior to this I received payment promptly, and other than the update, I have not sent a separate invoice. Check was cut from ServiceLink.

I thought I had heard or read that, too, but when they call me they meet my fees and obviously pay very quickly. No problems here!

It's very strange--ServiceLink would lowball & be difficult to work with. Not so with ATM, even though the companies are tied together. Interesting that they're paying so quickly. I wonder if it's a BOA requirement--that would be fantastic!

Re: Aren't these people notorious low ballers?

I am actually very upset with ServiceLink. I've been working with this company for many years and have never had a problem getting paid on time. Just recently if my invoice is a "larger' invoice, they take forever to pay. I emailed them today about my payment, which should have been received by now, and they said it's going out on the 24th. I am not very happy at all.

They have always paid my fee. That is through ServiceLink not ATM side.

Re: Aren't these people notorious low ballers?

Work for both sides and yes the former ATM side pay almost immediately. The old ServiceLink side pays from the monthly invoice. It used to come the 9th or the 10th of the month. Now I email them for status on the 12th and receive it a few days after my email with an apology via email. And yes its [e-mail address].
