Loan Document Now

Has anyone heard of this company? They're out of Florida. Do they pay on time? Owner's name is Tammy Mazak. Any info is appreciated - I accepted a signing from her.

Thanks!

OK, thanks so much! It seems like that's pretty usual these days. TitleServ and ServiceLink do the same thing. I am looking for good companies to work with that actually pay and get you documents within a reasonable time. I think that's what we're all looking for! Any input would be appreciated!

Thanks so much!

Hi Jeanna,

I can't wait that long to be paid when my bill collectors expect their pay on time. I do not know of any creditor that will wait longer then 10 to 25 days. I don't feel like I should wait either.

The SS's are paid at funding. There is no reason I can't expect to be paid in a reasonable time after that. If I allow them to take their time, first thing you know their overhead and vacation and lunches out etc etc etc HAD TO BE PAID first. Don't you think that your services are just as important as the Title Company's, the Recorders, and all of the other Payee's on that HUD??

Just my humble opinion

She's OK...you're OK. Usually around 45 days. Note that I currently have 1 that's over 60 days, but apparently a few notaries checks went missing. Tammy does communicate so I'm not worried--yet~~

This is another company that isn't in Signing Central. Why not take the time to list them there?

Re: You are lucky-D.J. Services-150+ days and counting-BEWARE!

D.J. Services is the name of the SS that doesn't pay?

I was also wondering why Loan Documents Now is not listed here.

The appointment is in 30 mins and still no documents. I am new to working with SS's - I've been working with local branches for 6 years util they closed them. This document issue is very confusing to resolve when you don't have a mobile office, and they never get you the docs in time. How do you all handle that?

I am also wondering if I am charging enough. She didn't even try to negotiate a lower fee, which is what most of them do.

Yes, I agree that 2 months to pay is ridiculous, but I don't know what else to do to get started. The creditors are knocking and I'm trying to rebuild my business. I've been reading posts on here, and would love some tips to success. When I find a decent company, I will get off the lists of these difficult ones, but it takes a while to figure out which is which.

I just want a company or 2 that pay in a reasonable time and gets docs in a reasonable time. I guess that's just not the way it is anymore?

Thank you all for your comments and help!

One thing you can do is to go to Signing Central & apply to companies that have good ratings.
As far as late docs are concerned, unfortunately that goes with the business. It get worse at EOM.

late doc strategies?

how do you deal with that when you're trying to do more than one per day and don't have $$ for a mobile office? Any tricks? Thanks!

I'm still waiting for docs for 4pm appt at 4:30.

Re: Late Doc Strategies

When time is an issue, or previous experience with late dox from a particular company, I always make sure they know what is my cut-off time ... especially for late evening and EOM signings. For example, for a 7:30PM signing, I insist on having dox NO LATER than 5:30. Otherwise, you may wind up still waiting at 8:30 or later, and no easy way out failing no earlier notification.

Re: late doc strategies?

I don't have an mobile office & don't want to go that route. This business is hectic enough.
If docs are late for one signing, I will keep the rest of my schedule & push that one to last.
I don't live in a rural area, so coming back to print docs is inconvenient sometimes, but not impossible.
I have also dashed into Kinkos to print some docs between appts.
