Nonpayment

I did two signings on 4/10/09 and 4/17/09 for Dynamic Field Solutions out of Ladera Ranch, CA After multiple emails and phone calls, many of which were ignored, I have still not received payment. When I finally said I would be contacting others if I did not receive a check , about two weeks ago I got an email from them saying I needed to sign a contract with them in order to get paid. They didn't require that when asking me to handle the signings for them. In that they've ignored my contacts too many times regarding nonpayment, I indicated I had no intention of signing any contract with them, as I wouldn't want to do any further business with them. I also said if I do not have a check by July 1st, I will start contacting others regarding their dishonest approach to doing business. I got a call from a scheduler with them, asking me to handle a signing for them last Friday, 7/3/09, and told her I will not do business with a company who doesn't pay, which I've already told others in the company, and refused the signing. I am now making others aware of them - they're nonpayors.

Hi Rita,
Sorry to hear you are having such a hard time with payments. In the future, if you use the "Signing Central" tab here on N/R you might find information that would help you to determine whether you should accept work from certain companies. Out of 43 ratings Dynamic Field Solutions had approx. 37 with only One star. Seems like they are a good company to stay away from.

Thanks! Sure wish I had looked at AA's rating before taking a job for them. I'm not a premier member so I couldn't upload my posting about them, but I'm still trying to get paid for a signing I did on April 15th! As notaries we have to give the signing companies all of our information and yet, AA Notary won't even give me their last name!! Just the runaround, that's all I ever get from AA. Save those Title Company docs!! I have contacted the Title Co to see if they have been paid or not. It seems 3 months is plenty of time for Title companies to release funds.
My advice - DON'T USE AA Notary Services and DON'T take any jobs when the title company is located in Florida!!

"DON'T take any jobs when the title company is located in Florida!!"

I think that is rather extreme - we have plenty of TC's in FL who pay and pay timely. You are being very negative where there is little cause.

"I'm not a premier member so I couldn't upload my posting "

You don't have to be premier, but you do have to sign in to be counted.

Again - a bit of thinking through things before coming out with a knee-jerk reaction is required sometimes.

I'm with Julie...

I have more trouble with CA SS's and TC's who don't grasp the 3-hour time discrepancy...

There are a lot of good Florida companies and that type of blanket statement, to me, is really uncalled for.

On topic though, since this company won't show up for me when I'm logged in, would someone please link the original post to the company in SC for future reference.

Thanks.

AA Notary Services is in Nashville, TN. How did the whole state of FL get on your "hit list"?
I hope you can control those reactions if you hope to stay in business.

Okay. I guess I should explain. The AA Notary Co. told me that they can't pay because the Title Company in Florida hasn't paid them. I've had other problems when the title co happens to be in Florida in the past. And yeah, I'm a little upset because I don't like working for free! If any of you do, then give me your name and number and I'll pass it on!

Re: AA Notary- Tennessee

I did a closing in early June for AA mobile Notary, and also a quick 2nd trip a few days later (not for any errors on my part Smile)
I will definitely post if I do not get paid in a timely manner.

You need to tell the AA Notary Company that it's not your concern when the TC pays them - AA Notary still has an obligation to pay you in a timely manner. Also, this excuse has been used by so many companies and it may or may not be true - have you called the title company, explained the situation, asked them to look up the file number to check the status of the file? Be sure to have the file number handy when you call. You just may find out that the TC has indeed already paid AA Notary already.

When I have to resort to this tactic, I will then e-mail the person at the TC who I spoke with, thanking them for taking the time to speak with me and then briefly recapping the conversation. Then I ask if they would be so kind as to provide me with a copy of the canceled check they issued to the signing service, as it will greatly assist me in my collection efforts. Then I cc the signing service. This usually prompts angry calls or e-mails from the signing service, with payment following shortly afterward. Which is exactly what I want to happen!

Re: Nonpayment - Dynamic Field Solutions

Rita, this company is a long-time, well-known non-payer. This website is a treasure trove of information about which companies we should stay away from. Please be sure to post your rating in the Signing Central section of this website.

With that said, Dynamic Field Solutions is well aware of their poor reputation. They have been told by me and others when they call or e-mail looking to fill jobs. They absolutely don't care that they have a bad rep. In fact, they get very flippant and rude when you call them on it.

Some notaries have had success with filing a claim here:

http://www.fbi.gov/majcases/fraud/internetschemes.htm

Be sure to report Dynamic's pattern of hiring notaries, many across state lines, with no intention of paying. I got this info off of the CA Business Portal website (address is different - not sure if this is the same company - they have a Santa Ana address in Signing Central):

Re: Nonpayment - Dynamic Field Solutions

I just searched NotRot using Victoria Martin's name - yes this is the same company!

I wonder if the state of CA is aware of Dynamic's new address in Ladera Ranch? I once received some great collection assistance from the NC Sec of State because the corporation in question had not kept it's annual reports current for at least three years...

I have been going thru the exact thing with them. I have done 2 signings that they have not paid me for and when they called me for a 3rd I said I would if they overnighted me a check. Then 2 hours after the signing was supposed to take place they wanted to send me the documents and send me out after 10:00. I refused due to the non-payment issue as well as they always have a delay on the documents and it makes it look like the notaries are running late instead of the company. If you figure out a way to make them pay let me know. I am also having trouble with Fox Signing and 21st Century Legal Services and NC Signing. Since April I am due about $1,000 that has not been sent to me. I don't know what to do to get paid. I know I did the work and did a good job and this is very discouraging to me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There is a service in NC that has stiffed you?

You live in NC right? Why haven't you tripped down to the small claims court and file against them? That's some of the easiest money to get and you are letting time get by.
