Notarizing For Family

As discussed in posts past, some choose to notarize for family, some will not, and some don't do general notary work. If you choose not to, one place you can suggest to your spouse or family member for the notary needs is the AAA office and depending on the level of membership they have, it may be FREE. Besides, even us Notaries have to have someplace to go for our own notary needs, too. The friend who notarizes for you for free (as you notarize free for them too), may not always be available. Hope this helps someone.

Be sure to check the services offered in your area first. Here, there is no AAA office. The three closest offices are "insurance only", no notary services.

For us living here in Southern California

WE are spoiled by the many services offered by the Southern California version of AAA. I am always reminded of this fact when I travel to other states and see the bare bones operation of many of the AAA offices.
