Notary Pro in So.Calif.
I've done many signings for this company for years now and they have paid me very well and have always met my fee. The problem I'm having now is they are starting to pay late and they have always paid on time. I'm starting to get the run-around from Sue in Accounting (new owners, waiting for new checks in the mail , she's "IN A MEETING ALL DAY",etc.). They're now over 30 days late -- What's going on??? Is anyone else having this problem??

I'm having the same problem. Did a signing in the beginning of April and have not received payment. Two weeks ago I called and was told "my check is in the mail"

This is the same process I went through with Eleventh Hour Signings right before they went out of business. Hope that's not the case with you ....

I called about a payment for a 4/20 signing and got a story about the server being down and it caused problems with their accounting software. Guess they were not on top of their disaster business backup plan!
A reminder email on 6/15 prompted a payment that arrived 6/19, makes that 57 days. Not sure if I care to hassel with them, but they paid.
They met my fee that time. Then before the check arrived, called and gave me a ridiculous low ball offer for a last minute signing with a bit of travel time. Said Thanks, but no thanks!

They are still in business in 2012. Sue is still there in accounting. Sue still does not answer her phone and her voice mail says the mail box is full. I have not been paid for the signing I did in April, 2012. It is now June 24. Two weeks ago Edgar said he was putting a check in the mail. Sounds like they use the same tactics on everyone and somehow stay in business.
