RTC Settlement
Confirmation 30 day pay, closing was May 6, 2009. I have left numerous voice mail messages to no avail. Today, I contacted United Lenders Services and spoke Melissa in accounting, she advised me that Patrick was paid on May 18, 2009 with check number #19024. I sent an email along with a voice mail. No response and I will report him to the PA Better Business Bureau.

Did 2 for them back in Sep 08. Got paid, after invoicing them 3 times, in Jan 09. Haven't worked for them since.

"better" solution
rather than report him to the BBB, since everyone involed is in PA, type up a small claims complaint, fax it to him and the title company. Send a cover letter tellingl them (and follow through) it will be filed this coming Monday if the check is not in your hands by Saturday. I've only had to do this a very few times and it works every time. If you've got the info, also include the broker, the borrower and the lender's legal dept. in the fax.

Re: "better" solution
I have also used this method. As you said "it works everytime".

He actually works for ULS, and does the ss on the side. Recently, ULS was asking people to sign up with them directly. Try calling Dean Trent at ULS about your issues with Patrick.

I had a hard time getting paid from RTC as well the one and only time I worked for them last year.

I would like to say that unfortunatley we have no control over what another company does. United lender services paid for the notaries to RTC Settlement, if they didn't pay the notaries they hired should have no reflection on the title company. The actions should be with RTC Settlement.
