Re-Inking Stamp

I have a Sring Ray notary stamp that I want to re-ink, but no directions came with the refill ink. When I take the top off the stamp there are three holes; two rectangular on either side and one round one in the middle with a spring around it. Where does the ink go?

Insert ink thur the two rectangular holes. If you look through them you will see the ink pad.

Thanks, Bobby. I thought that I could see the ink pad through the rectangular holes, but wasn't sure - I didn't want ink all over the place!

I used too much ink and made a terrible mess - I will have to buy a new stamp! Luckily, I have another stamp to use in the meantime.

You can 'draw' the ink out of the pad by placing the pad on a couple of paper towels, folded a few times. Be sure to place the towels on top of a piece of plastic wrap or something you can toss in the trash. Let the stamp sit on the paper towels for a few hours to absorb the ink. Then carefully clean the stamp, removing any ink that overflowed on to the plastic parts. Check the stamp for clarity. You may have to clean the stamp face too to remove any excess ink.

PAW, sounds like you've done that before!
