The saga continues . . . with Equity National

Courtney promised on Monday that all payments would be received today. She emailed me yesterday and said she would provide a FedEx #. No FEDex number, so I replied to email and today and she stated " It is going out today and you should receive it in the morning tomorrow. Thanks!" Good thing I'm not holding my breath on this one. What a nightmare of countless emails and phone calls. They owe me for three signings and the wait would be fine if they indicated that it would be over 30 days when I initially accepted the assignments. They keep making promises and not following through. Make sure when you accept assignments from them you get a date as to when you will be paid.

Have not been following your saga so maybe this suggestion has already been thrown out there. **Have you considered asking for payment via PayPal?**

Net 30 or earlier is ideal to receive payment but I'm willing to work with Net 45. Between the 45th and 60th is day is when the emails and phone calls will start and day 61st is when I start collection processes. My patience is gone at that point. This works for me.

Equity National

Their history of payment is very good with me.
Checks are cut twice a month following a faxed invoice.
Sounds like one of those issues that happen occasionally.
I wouldn't worry about payment.
Once in awhile a "true" glitch happens, this is likely one of them.

All ways paid promptly. Closed a loan on June 18, paid July 16. Closed a loan on June 19 and received payment on 25 July. Communication with Karen was easy as a phone call and my email messages answered promptly.

Equity is one of my A+ clients, so this is not a habitual thing with them. As you already realized, it was a multiple same-name glich (not saying that is ok). I think you can believe they will Fedex your checks.
Did you ever find out who got your check?

I would suggest that you don't want to shoot yourself in the foot on this one. They are a good company, pay a decent fee, & my payments have ALWAYS been prompt--never an issue.
