Yahoo Giving Me Grief
I've been receiving emails starting with ..."A Good Website..." from several yahoo email users, and have also "rec'd" email from my own account with this opening line. It is a virus, that apparently worms in and steals contact information. I have an offline account, but have a few remaining contacts on my yahoo list that may have gotten this "from" me. I never EVER email random notaries for any reason, let alone send them spam or garbage or anything of the like. I've learned that Yahoo Mail has the poorest spam filters EVER and their privacy breaches are an embarrassment.
I am truly sorry if anyone has rec'd anything from me. If you have from me or any other source and it is from yahoo, please do not open it...delete it immediately!

I had so many problems trying to donwload documents using a yahoo account, I switched to a different isp with a different account name in order to alleviate the problems. So far, it's working out just fine
Thanks for letting everyone know about the possible virus.

Yahoo Giving Me Grief
I have not had any problems receiving documents with my Yahoo account. I really like two of the features: that I can create my own folders and then easily create "filters" to direct email to those folders based on the sender, or one or more words in the Subject line, OR the content etc.; and a simple Print button that prints the content of an email (no matter how many pages) rather than having to do a print screen of the entire browser page, and possibly having to page down and print again (or trying to highlight and copy the content, then open up Word, pasting it, and then printing).
I do have a problem receiving a mass mailing from a local social group. But fortunately my sister receives it to her Road Runner email and then she forwards it to me. But I have never missed a file from a TC.

I've missed a file from any TC either. It's a matter of not being able to open the file once it is received. When it was sent to yahoo, if I couldn't open it, I had to forward it to a different, non-yahoo account. So, in order to not have to perform that extra step, I simply switched to a different isp.
Whatever works for you is what you should do. Not everyone has the same problems.

I agree, different people ahve different problems. It shouldn't matter as to the system or operating system (version of Windows, etc.) but it could be differences are caused by the browser each person is using. I use Firefox because it is the safest to use, versatile (multi tabbed windows is GREAT), the automatic spell checker that makes me LOOK(!) good and it is highly recommended by the smartest computer guru I know. I've only ever had one program that had a problem with it - and that was a problem with their program.
