21st Century Legal Services

Why is it so hard for some folks to just do the right thing?
How can people feel good about their life and conduct business by not paying for services performed? Not taking or returning phone calls-ignoring obligations?
Part of taking the oath and responsibilty of being a notary public is being ethical...a term loosy lived by in some cases.
I'm not going away until the bill is paid.

Well stop punishing us because of it

One post is sufficient, you don't need to keep repeating yourself.

21st Century...Genuine Title...FIRMA Signing Solutions..

Sheila...you really, really need to research the companies you work for - 3 companies in 3 posts that all have payment issues (and we won't go into the just plain illegal activities of one)...

Do you not check on companies before you render services? Obviously not - a quick check here would have saved you a world of grief - and some money. If it's your practice not to bother checking on their reputation and payment history, then it's hard to feel sorry for you when you don't get paid by the beaters...

Best one is when they pay you the check bounces a week later and is marked NSF. Took 3 calls to get a live person and the story I was told that someone stole their account info and they had to change bank accounts. While I have not verified with the bank itself I will be doing so tomorrow. I already faxed to the number I was told to fax the NSF check to demanding that the replacement be in the form of a cashier check...no company check will be accepted. Still waiting for a response.

Beware: I rec'd a call from a borrower before the appt. saying that someone at the company (unfortunately he did not get the name of the person) told him that I was a representative from the State, which proved the legitimacy of their company AND that if anything happened, such as a foreclosure on his property then I would be personally responsible for it!!! The man happened to be a sheriff in my State who understood my role in this application (none, except a courier service) and felt it was his obligation to inform me about what they were saying about me. I, in turn, feel it is my obligation to tell you.
