Blackberry users: Did you know about free google maps?

You can get Google Navigation by texting "gmaps" to 466453 from a blackberry or other smartphone. I haven't tried it yet, but my mom is using it this weekend on a road trip from her blackberry storm. She suggested I try it for notary work rather than using mapquest.

Just thought I'd share.

You don't even have to text.. you can download the entire application to your BB. I have it on mine and I use it every single day.

Speaking of Blackberries

I tried to download Pandora to my Storm yesterday. I got as far as "creating account" but my phone got stuck "creating account". Has any other users experienced this?

I'm still in research mode for Blackberries, and have found that not all models have that capability. So far, I'm not having great luck matching up all the features I think I want and don't want with the carrier that I think would be best for my area. I think I'll bide my time for a while and watch what develops.

Those of you with smart phones of various stripes, did you have problems adjusting to the touch screens, especially for texting and email? I'd be interest in any feedback about those phones vs. the qwerty keyboard models. I've heard some adamant opinions pro and con from friends, but they don't have the same kinds of needs that we do. TIA!
