Equipment freaking meltdown - need suggestions for AIO

HP LaserJet P2015d won't pull paper through. Have backup HP - very slow, always reliable. Fax also died this week. Looking for suggestions on AIO. Search didn't reveal too much.
Thanks!

Have you gone to hp.com and looked to see if you could get help? I don't have a 2015 but a 2035. Luckily I haven't had any problems with it. (crosses fingers)

Sent printer to HP for repairs. They ship it back. Never

fixed problem. Warranty expires August. Not willing to pay another shipping fee. Got extended warranty with Staples. Their tech support tried to troubleshoot. They said it has to go back to HP for repairs. BTheir tech support can possibly replace printer once HP warranty expires! Also, check message #290959 from NC Notary. Apparently this is a problem with the formatter board.

Re: Sent printer to HP for repairs.,..Jacqueline

If you've sent this printer to HP for repairs and it came back not fixed, I'd be pitching a fit with HP and make them pick up the cost of shipping....and if it's the same problem, even if the warranty expires if it's a continuation of the same problem (unresolved) they have to fix it under warranty.

Call them and tell them they didn't fix the problem and you want THEM to provide you with a return shipping label and arrange to pick it up.....I've done that with Dell when my laptop needed repairs and other things where stuff just didn't get done.. I'll ship on my own dime once but if you don't fix the problem it's on you now...

As for an AIO, I have a Brother but wouldn't recommend it just because of the long term expense of using it - I have it for fax and scanning with the laser printer just a "happens to be there" backup printer...I have a separate HP printer as my main printer and will stay with HP if I ever have to replace it...

Good Luck!!

What a coincidence..

I have the same printer as you do. This morning I ran into the same problem. It got better after I:

1. removed both paper trays and flipped the paper stock upside down in each one, then put trays back in the printer; and

2. removed and reinserted the toner cartridge.

This has happened to me before a few times but then the problem goes away. I will be calling HP in the next week to ask them about this and a PC problem I have. I'll be sure to let you know what I find out.

Please let me know what you find out as well, please.

I got an urgent updated from HP today about "critical communication issues between PC's & printers".
That's a bad joke at this point, because I dumped my HP's last year because of said issues.
