Fairfax Signings (((((((((Warning))))))))))))

I m having problems getting paid for work done from this SS. So if you get a call from them you are been warned of their modus operandi. Signing was done thru Integrity Escrow in Fountain Valley, CA and their office shows the very same address. I will update if I ever get paid.

Since they are local I will see them in small claim court if necessary. The above is my opinion and experience with these people.

I did a signing for them June 4 and have already received payment. It was a smooth transaction.
Good Luck

Re: Fairfax Signings (((((((((Warning))))))))))))For "LT"

"LT", I tried to reply to your private m. but I wasn't able. Your response is a great idea, they promised me a check in a short time, we will see. And yes they are a branch of the escrow company they have the very same phone number, but with their ext number to Fairfax Signings.

Hello,
In an effort to prove that Fairfax signing is not the company at fault, if you email your name, buyers name, escrow number (starts with 247 or 248) and the request sheet sent to you by ESS Network I will send you a copy of the check that was sent to ESS Network for that particular signing which they are responsible for paying the notary with.

It is very important to me to have this problem worked out. ESS Network was the company coordinating signings for Integrity Escrow during these periods of notaries not being paid and is essentialy why they are no longer under contract with Integrity Escrow. Fairfax Signing is now coordinating these signing now and it is very unfortunate our company name is essentially being dragged through the mud due to the negligence of one company.

Hello,

If you completed a signing where Integrity Escrow was the Escrow company then Escrow Signings Services Inc. (ESS Network) is the company that hired you. In this case, Integrity Escrow had an agreement with ESS Network to coordinate their notary signings. ESS Network was assigned this file. They contacted you to complete the signing, and were paid for doing so. With this payment, they are responsible for paying the notary. ESS Network is now playing games with you as a method of not paying you, and then trying to confuse you on who is actually responsible.

Fairfax Signings is the company that Integrity Escrow has contracted to replace ESS Network due to ESS Network's failure to pay their notaries amongst other things. Fairfax signing has absolutely NO bearing for payment not received from ESS Network.

But, in an effort to prove that Fairfax signing is not the company at fault, if you email your name, buyers name, escrow number (starts with 247 or 248) and the request sheet sent to you by ESS Network. I will send you a copy of the check that was sent to ESS Network for that particular signing which they are responsible for paying the notary with.

You can find contact information for ESS on the “contact us” section of their website. As you will see they are out of business and actually in the process of trying to sell their website.

Fairfax Signing has been handling all of Integrity Escrow's notary coordination since their termination of ESS Network. We pride ourselves on paying our notaries right away whether the signing is completed or canceled. Fairfax would still like to hire you for signings. Please at least look into this and take of all of this information into consideration before casting out Fairfax Signing as one of the many "bad signing services out there"

Thank you,

Matthew

Ok, so this lead me to ask, "Are we fighting the alligator from the wrong end here?"
Maybe instead of posting, I did a job for an agency now known as 'SUX'
Which I did by the way, and before anyone starts throwing eggs my direction; I must say that I was young and inexperienced, needing the thrill of actually getting work.
But I digress. What if we posted complaints about the Lenders or TCs or Escrow companies; wouldn't then they stop using the sucky agencies to hire the notaries? Wouldn't then agencies like 'SUX' just dry up and blow away, because of business.

I have to say, so long as there are newbies, innocent to the ways of cheaters, there will be notaries that accept lowball fees and risks of non payment.

Just an idea; go ahead tell me why I'm wrong.

Is there an edit feature here?
What I meant to say was, "...because of LACK of business."

For example signing central would read something like this. 'SUX....non payment..signing for "fill in Lender"

Wouldn't then Lender stop doing business with SUX?
They wouldn't want to be 'dragged through the mud'

Just pondering things here....

I somewhat disagree. There is a threefold relationship - TC/Escrow, Signing Service, and Notary. The one ultimately responsible to pay the Notary is the TC/Escrow as THEY own the docs, not the SS. I would compare this threefold relationship to that of a homeowner, general contractor and subcontractors (i.e. plumber, painter, electrician). When the homeowner hires and pays the general contractor, the GC is responsible to pay the subcontractors (i.e., plumber, electrician, painter). If the GC skips town with all the money, the subcontractors go after the homeowner, (recording mechanics liens) who is *ultimately* responsible.

The homeowner did not hire the plumber, electrician, or painter....the general contractor hired them, but the homeowner is responsible still. Same with the threefold relationship. The SS may have hired the Notary, but if they skip town with the money, the TC is ultimately responsible to pay the Notary because THEY own the docs. MHO
