Genuine Title

I have done so many closings for this company and they paid me on time and it is really nice working for them. I did a closing on 5/21 and got my check on 6-8-09 they are getting good paying notaries on time

Let me guess, they paid you 90 dollars for e docs and they asked you to post on this board that you got paid on time.

Well you must be a lucky one.
I did a closing for them in April. I was promised by Shannon Smoot at the time that I accepted the closing for 90.00 (which is lower than I normally charge), that I would be paid in a timely fashion. They did send the check within 3 weeks of closing. The problem was it was unsigned. I returned it the same day to their return address with a personalized post it note on it. They have been playing games ever since. 1 - they never received it 2- send a new invoice 3- ignore emails. After being promised a replacement check 3 weeks ago, now it's let just ignore. Of course all the promises for getting the situation rectified came from Kosty (the boss), now it's no response. Going to my attorney (than god he's my brother if I'm not paid this week).

Re: Genuine Title...wyse, you're certainly in the minority

here...based on past postings, which have been linked, this company's reputation is exactly opposite what you report...guess you got really really lucky...

"Whats the Going Rate for a spontaneous Glowing review?"

Notice it's usually the same suspects thinking this will endear them with the SS and get them more work. I was requested by the company in the following posting to post a review even though I have not been paid yet. Maybe these posters think it is the only way to ensure payment.

I have NEVER had a company request that I give them a review

I replied only to let those having problems know that their problem may not be the norm.
If a company ever made it a stipulation of payment to give them a review I would stop working for them.

It could be very few Notaries in the area,

And if he doesn't pay him, he won't have anyone to handle these closings. It looks like he ( yowheelz) is one of few in the area that has the coveted LTP. And of course, also keep in mind Genuine can pay him with some of the money he's apparently cheated other Notaries out of.

I did a sigining on March 16th for Kosty and to this day have not been paid. It was a no sign and he sent me to a very rural area of AZ. I have emailed him several times but he keeps telling me that if I submitted an invoice to him that I will get paid. It has been almost three months!!!

Is there more than one Genuine Title????

Reports are all over the wall. Some get paid promptly others don't get paid at all. It makes you wonder if it is all the same company. Are there different locations for the same company or maybe individual franchises?
