Got Sturdy Paks at FedEx today

Said they were not discontinued...hum. Also, new label holders appear to be easier to work with - paper backing releases better without the plastic envelope bunching up, etc. And, they let me have 100 of whatever I asked for without having an account with them.. Supppose they are becoming more customer friendly? Business down a bit for them too?

I got some at a FedEx depot a few weeks ago, too! The FedEx employee thought I was nuts when I said I thought they were discontinued.

I appreciate the update.

It's about time for me to place another FedEx supply order. I chuckled when you commented about the shipping labels bunching up. I thought I was the only one annoyed by that.

Re: I appreciate the update.

Put your airbill in the sleeve before you take the backing off and it won't bunch up so easy. Trick I learned when I owned a mail and parcel center.

Well that's interesting, because I was told at the FedEx shipping headquarters that they were discontinued. I haven't seen them in the stores for months, and they are NOT listed online when you order supplies. Maybe coming back by popular demand? Hope so, they're the best.

I agree, Al. Not available on-line, so I called and asked for "Sturdy Pak, item number 150949" and was told they no longer have that. I should use a 'large pak' or 'padded pak' for legal sized documents.

I'll have to check that out--I've never used them.

I've had to ask for them, and the personnel have gone to the back and retrieved some for me.

Have any of you worked with a company that REQUIRES the reusable cardboard paks? I have, and when the document stack is over 160 pages, it's a struggle to fit the docs in. Wish they made a sturdy pak that was reusable.
