Here's a good one...
I received an email yesterday asking "Anybody want to do a signing with eDocs for $75.00?". And get this - it was sent to no less that 12 'Notaries'! Is this the way they are going to start doing business? What's next - putting them up for auction at the lowest bidder?
Just for fun I wrote back and asked if it was filled and she said it was. So what kind of quality and professionalism are they getting, or do they not care. Or do they think so little of what we do that even a monkey with non-opposing thumbs can do it?

from a company noted for lowballing (and more recently, nonpayment)....so I "replied to all", letting them know their history of low pay, slow pay and no pay precludes me from working for their company...<G>

But you know that some momo took that job! They always think that they are 'special' and won't get stiffed. And when they don't get paid, they come in here and whine about it. sigh....

Oh and this follows two no-shows...
One last week and one this week of frantic calls from TC's saying a 'Notary' did not show up and did not call - can YOU do this for us? And the second one they sent me the WRONG file and closed for the day. So I had to go on what was then the third day after it was supposed to be done! Got paid extra of course
Maybe this was the same 'Notary' doing the no shows??

I got the same thing maybe 3 times over the last
week or so - "Notary is a no-show"...."Notary dropped the ball on us"...."Notary dropped at the last minute"....what the heck's going on? And these weren't bad companies either...

"The other notary dropped the ball and my client shouldn't have to be penalized for it, will you date for two days ago?"
Ain't gonna happen
