Is there a Notary that will go

to Sea Ranch, CA? I get quit a few calls for this location, it's too far for me. I would like to refer my SS to a notary much closer than I. Help

How far is too far?

If you are who I think you are, you are about 30 miles give or take? It is curvy roads, I know, but I routinely take jobs that distance or greater in my area as long as my fee is met for the mileage. It's just part of living where I live. I have one tomorrow, 125 miles round trip ... no one closer would take it, and the TC met my fee so everyone is happy. Of course, I only take those long distance ones for companies I have done business with before or have a good rating when I search.

On another site, there are about 10 notaries listed 40 miles or less ...

Too bad I don't live closer. That road is one of my all time favorite motorcycle roads ...

Sea Ranch is one of my favorite places to visit in CA. We used to stay at the Sea Ranch Inn and watch the sunset, sitting on the hotels great lawn, on a cliff high above the Pacific. Scary roads, but to miss a paying opportunity to see that??? I don't think so.

I just did a quick MapQuest for Grace's location - it's 61.16 miles one way - 1 hour 43 minutes travel time. I'd think twice about that kind of travel, too...

It's a gorgeous place to visit... if it paid for the travel and I were within about 40 miles...I'd totally go.

The closest NotRot member that I can find is M. A. Wilson out of Cloverdale (707.494.8917), but that's still a drive over SP-S.

I did find a couple of notaries in Gualala using Google ... but not sure if they do loan work.

Yes, I have gone to Sea Ranch quite a few times. It's not cheap but I have been 3 times in the last year. It's about a 2 1/2 hour drive each way and a beautiful drive at that.
