More about Facebook & Business
About a week ago Linda posted asking for input from anyone listing their business on Facebook. Well, Linda, I finally published my business profile. I also decided to go with the click per view ad feature for my business on Facebook. I'll report back in a month or two as to how it's working or not working.
I don't have high hopes but I still feel as if I'm missing certain market segment in my area. I want to put out some new feelers to see what, if any, business or leads it generates.

I use Facebook primarily for networking with other real estate agents (and keeping in touch with some friends); I'm not sure if it has much value for generating business directly, which is why I set up a personal profile rather than a business profile. My understanding is that the ads that are presented are targeted to the profiles of the individuals who are seeing them - which suggests to me that it's not an effective platform for advertising for notary or signing work. I'll be interested in hearing about how you make out.
Good luck!

Facebook...
I use Facebook more for fun than networking...I use LinkedIn or Elance for serious networking or looking for jobs.

Re: Linked-In
I was introduced to this a few weeks ago. I think this is primary for business connections.
