Notary National Signers not paying me

I completed a Respa closing for them April 30th and have not been paid. I started calling them after 30 days even though they state that they pay in 2 weeks at first no one answered the phone so I left messages no return call. About two weeks ago I got Heather on the phone and she said she is waiting to hear from Accts. Payable. I called last week she said the same thing. Today again the same thing so I told her that I'm done being patient how long does it take to find out why I haven't been paid. I mentioned how many times I've come to this site and they preach yes we only pay 90.00 but we pay in 2 weeks. I asked to speak to the owner and she would not transfer the call. I then asked for their name and she refused to tell me. She then put me on hold and never came back to the phone. I called the LO on the confirmation and the phone was disconected so I can only assume since I can't get an answer from NNS that they haven't paid me because they haven't gotten paid which is not an accectable nor valid reason. I have done refi signings for them in the past not for 90.00 either and for the most part payment has been timely not always 2 weeks more like 30 days. Because of the older posts on this and other boards I waited a few months after they started calling me to even accept a closing from them. I have read how he was trying to repair the companies reputation and no matter what he pays his notaries. Well Bob put my money where my mouth is and PAY ME !

I have one that it's not been paid yet. It's past 30 days too, I will start calling them today and will report on this and other boards.

Mine was late too

I stayed on top of them due to mixed reviews. I will not accept another assignment from them. They did pay me in full but only after several promises to pay that were not fulfilled.

I called NNS back and Heather answered the phone I expressed how upset I was about her leaving me on hold she said I'm really sorry that was rude of me. I asked to speak with Bob and she said he doesn't work there any more. I then went on to ask about my payment and this is what she said ''I can only email accts payable I can't call them HUH ! she also went on to say I'm new here so I don't know what you want from me and hung up. WHAT THE HE** on with this company. For anyone who is owed money and it's past the 2 weeks take my advise DON'T WAIT START CALLING NOW 30 days may be too late. Bob if you do still work there hire someone who's not on the same waiting list as the Scarecrow from the wizzard of oz.

They just called us for one in York Haven. Quoted our fee and she "will get that approved and call back". Don't think we'll be hearing the phone ring for that callback! Humm......

Since I had never heard of NNS before, I came here for some info and was not disappointed to find there is plenty.

I received a call at 12:13 asking me to do a RESPA in York Haven--probably the same one you're talking about. Thanks to the Susquehanna River, I can see YH from my place, but it takes me about 1 hour to drive there. We never got the point of discussing a fee.

I really don't have a comment to make for Signing Central because I was only doing research and came across this thread. I have no personal experience regarding payment or not since I have not accepted any work from them.

Wasn't he the momo-jackbag attempting to force-feed his "facts" that $90 was a satisfactory and acceptable fee for e-doc refis, as long as he was paying bi-monthly?
Didn't he argue tirelessly to ensure that he could get as many people to agree with him?
Said NNS would never stiff any notaries as long as they'd accept the $90 so that he would have enough capital to function as a signing service?
Yeah, it was him. He and Lisa at Socal Signings tried to work the crowd, and he had a lot of
supporters. (I wasn't one of them.)
Now, less than a year later, he is one of the non-payers.
I hope some of you understand why some of us don't buy this propagandic SS-BS when it is posted. Good luck collecting.

Good reading material

The comments from NNS, Socal signings and Negerets are worth reading again and again. It just goes to show that some of these SS that post here telling us how great they are and how fast they pay are usually short lived.
The comments from Bob from NNS less then 1 year ago, are no longer true,if they ever were, as it seems he is cheating people right and left that "fell" for his "work for $90 and I'll give you lots of business" routine..The only thing it did was fill his pockets with money so he could run off with it.

EXACTLY.
I guess I just want to reiterate that just because a few people have a good experience with a company, doesn't necessarily make the company good.
Normally, when a signing agency comes on this forum to toot their own horn, there is usually a selfish reason attached to their posts. JMHO.

I haven't worked for the 3 SS I mentioned, but I am suspicious of them when they post here trying to sell their line of bull.I am even more hesitant to work for the ones that have shills post for them, making statement such as- They're great, paid within 60 days, or I didn't have to chase my money, etc....I've also noticed some companies giving themselves 5 stars in the comments section of signing central, and reply to the comments there as a way to keep the 2.5 stars they have....

My experience with Notary National Signers has been good. I have never had to chase them for a payment. I hope it stays that way.

Just called them about the 1st and only signing that I've done for them. Spoke to a nice woman named Heather who said she was emailing Accts Payable and that someone would get back to me, Although they promised 2 weeks payment when I accepted it, I figured give them a chance. Now we are at 5 weeks and just called. We'll see. Never had problems with all my regulars. Can name on one hand those that have f-d me or taken forever. Speedy - slow but always got it after many calls. J & J - have never collected. Star Closing - never collected. Our friend Kosty at Genuine Title - a nogoodnik (is that a word?) LOL.
So maybe I'll collect for the one and only closing from NNS - certainly hope so.
