RM Application ....Msg #280353?

If you do the RM application, can you then accept the assignment to do the closing?
Is that even legal?

No Notary work on the application...

If you make paper cups does that mean you cannot use them to pour a bottle of water into?

You may, legally, ethically, morally, and so on, providing you only notarize today.

Thanks for the feed back; I was just concerned about conflict of interest.

What conflict of interest? Conflict of interest is if you are personally/financially involved in the transaction.

Some of the companies do consider it a conflict of interest!

I don't do any notarizations for a RM that I take the application. Some of them you are signing as the interviewer. On a refi they don't have the interviewer do the notarizations. I just don't want it to come back to haunt, me, the borrower or the lender.
