Road visual
Someone (some while back) gave the name of the site where you can on computer ride down a road and see any home. Maps Live brings one down from above, but this site lets you be riding down the road. Anyone remember the site?

Re: Google maps
I looked on Google Maps and didn't see a link to what might show a road visual.

Here's the link...
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl
You need to choose 'terrain'....and wait while it loads. It's Google maps, not real accurate--addresses are 'approximate' and it takes some getting used to to 'walk around', but it's fun! What surprised me is that my home--in Podunk Junction-- is right there, but my son's--in a Chicago Suburb, isn't.

Ya it's funny which ones they have visuals for..if you see cars/suvs driving around with weird cameras on top, that's how they get those visuals from..

Now that would be a job to have. Driving around. Come to think of it, that's what I do. Guess not.

It's called Google StreetView...
And I use it all the time! It's not available for every location yet...
If the address I found for you is correct then there is a street view image available of the road.
ALl you have to do is plug you address in to Google Maps and click on Street View, if it's available. It's not always accurate but it will get you in the general neighborhood.

Re: It's called Google StreetView...
A friend of mine recently went on vacation to Italy... I used streetview to take a virtual tour of Florence and had a blast refreshing memories! (Doesn't EVEN come close to being there, though. Darn! )
