ServiceLink

ServiceLink requires a monthly invoice be sent to them...I read where they don't want it faxed. Is the best method to mail regular mail or will they accept emails? Thank You.

ServiceLink and NationalLink require that the 'invoice' be MAILED (US Postal Service), not faxed or emailed. (At least they used to. I haven't worked with them in a very long time.) If you need blank forms, they are available on my website (Resources -> Misc. Documents).

Even with Snail Mail, you should expect to see payment in about 2 weeks.

I use their on-line system for monthly invoicing.....

You sign in, enter all your invoices from the previous month, and then the check comes in about 30 days.

Very convenient.

Maybe it's just me

but I don't find it particularly convenient to be paid at the end of the month for all of the PREVIOUS month's signings.

Re: Maybe it's just me

I agree - I just had to do this for American Freedom Assurance. It was the first time I've worked for them, and I had to set up an e-mail reminder for myself to be sure to bill them on June 20th for all jobs done in the previous month (however, I only had the one job). I was going out of town early on the 20th and had to take time out to submit that invoice. What a pain!

And then I guess they'll pay me 30 days from the day they receive my invoice? Doesn't make one enthusiastic about working for them.

There are many who agree with you.

For me though, whether I get paid in 10 days after closing or 60 days after closing makes almost no difference.

Re: There are many who agree with you.

I think it's inconvenient to have to MAIL an invoice, seperate from the package you fed ex?? and I was never told about the online invoice system, they told me directly I had to MAIL it.

They call it e-invoicing, and you might have to register for

it specifically.
