Thanks for the info.
I did a few for them this month. I'll see how long it takes them to pay.

I did one signing for them and when calling (or emailing) to check on payment after 30 days, basically I was ignored or told "We're researching the matter"....got fed up and sent one last email saying I was considering turning the account over to my attorney for collections and was going to the county recorder to see if the deed was recorded. Got an immediate email response saying my check was being mailed to me that day (Friday) and it arrived the following Monday. I will NOT work for them again.

I would like to say this to all notaries that read this box. I think we shouldn't judge title companys by the action of one or two other people. sometimes vendor bills do not get turned in or title companies have a 30 day net pay schedule. check this out up front. I understand that some never get paid and thats terrible. But when you know people get paid and they still want to post a negitive respond I don't think that is fair. All I am saying is check it out for yourself and don't rely on Rumors, or half truths. and keep in mind that postings never give the title company a chance to come back with things that happen to them by what notaries do or didn't do.
