Using todays date on docs dated yesterday
Is this legal? Has anyone heard of The Doc Signers Inc. ? They asked me to perform a closing last night and the borrower was not ready. Today they want me to use the same docs and fill in todays date. I never heard of doing that and was just wondering.

It's only illegal if they ask you to notarize with yesterdays date. Just make sure that you change the Right to Cancel date if it is pre-printed with 9/17/09. Change the date to 9/18/09 and have the borrower initial the change. Change the recission date to 9/22/09 and have bwr intial also. They should just date todays date on the bottom where they sign.
As long as the TC and lender say you can use the same docs, it is okay.

I would skip the summer months in a heartbeat and it's not even August yet. There nothing like going outside and getting all hot and sticky. I'm over it already.
