I have tried the search button and it seems no one has actually either performed a closing for this company, or if they have, they didnt post to signing central about their experience with them. I have a call for tomorrow night and would appreciate any feedback anyone can offer as to their dealings with them.

If this is the one in Harrisonburg, VA - I have worked for them 4 times back in 2006 & 2007. Payment ranged from 20 days to 40 days with a reminder.

The last time they called me which was probably in 2008, they booked me at my quoted fee. They then proceeded to shop around and found a cheaper notary... HOWEVER they neglected to tell me that they no longer needed my services. When I e-mailed them the next day to inquire as to the confirmation they told me they found someone cheaper. When I asked why didn't they contact me to cancel the job they said they were much too busy (that was back when this business was dead as a doornail). No apologies at all. I was also miffed that they didn't give me the opportunity to negotiate my fee.

Thanks so much. Tells me exactly what I need to know. The same thing must be happening with me because the closing confirmation hasn't come yet. Just checked the phone number and they ARE out of Harrisonburg, VA. You're a GEM, Copperhead and thanks again!
