Copier Maintenance Agreements

Has anybody been successful in negotiating a good service agreement for a Ricoh copier? It seems they're "holding me hostage" and I feel certain I can find another service provider or at least something to negotiate with. My machine was just paid off in February and the current contract they're offering is $675 annual and .019 p/copy after 6000 p/qtr on b/w and .12 p/copy on color. For this they will provide all toner necessary and they "claim" same day service. I've googled till my eyes are crossing and can't find anything.

What's the amount of a regular service call?

At work, we've recently gone into the same phase you are but with the volume we do...well, we have a service contract.

2 cents a copy over 6000 sounds really high. Is that what you are saying (.019 = .02), and if it's 12 cents per colored copy that's over the moon, IMHO.

It's not .019 of a cent? Wow....I feel ya.
