at least someone called..
only things I've done this month have been property inspections and safe deposit audits. The only call for a closing was way out of my area and said no. It feels like Sept 07 when everything came to a grinding hault.

How lucky can one guy be!!!! Called me two weeks ago, couldn't understand why they didn't have us in their data base - I proceeded to tell them why. She checked and said,"Oh there you are.....it says "do not re-instate" ". I told her "yeh, 2 years ago they ticked me off and I told them to take me off their list and never call back" After hearing the story, the gal and I both had a good laugh.... and said our good-byes".

I like working for Servicelink. The problem they have to be desparate before they will pay my fee. I did a signing for them last week on Thursday and received a check today Monday. My fee was $125.00 they told me they had to get it approved but they did.

I was going over some documents I received for a closing and there was something in the settlement statement that explains why some people asking for $125 are passed over. The notary fee for this closing was only $95, which means I will only get a fraction of that. Well, anyhow, the closing location is not far from my home.

that must be one of those oxymorons in place. I have had HUDS say the notary fee is $50, but I knew my fee was different and when was paid, I was paid per fee stated on confirmation. Can't remember company.

When I did a lot of signing for IPT the Settlement statement always showed $40 notary fee - and I counted the notarizations and the notary fee would be $40 - but I was being paid $125 (overnight docs) So, can't always go by the notary fee on the settlement statement.
