Jarod / Another Deadbeat FYI

If you are a Notary Public / Realtor and someone by the name of Jarod, from a property investment company supposedly based in Oregon calls you for assignment, JUST SAY HECK NO!! This is for taking pictures, property valuations for his so-called company, etc., but he uses Notary Rotary and other websites to find victims. He is TOTALLY DISHONEST & has ZERO intentions of paying you for your services. After I made the GIGANTIC mistake of accepting & completing this assignment, I asked him for his company info (name & address) for my invoice. I NEVER RECEIVED THAT info and now he surely won't disclose it to me. Now he's giving me a bogus excuse of why he's not paying me. I thought the check would go out "next week", man! It has now been 60+ days. Go figure; another lesson learned in this game. I have now mentally written this guy off (way before tax time!), but I just want to spare anyone else from this... person.

DO NOT ACCEPT ANY ASSIGNMENTS FROM THIS GUY: JAROD/ Property Investment company in Oregon/ YOU WON'T BE PAID. I would post his email... but this should suffice.

"The pursuit of WOW! If you are selling and want the most $ out of your house, I can show you how. If you are buying and want to save the most $ on your house, I can show you how."

That alone says it all.

It sounds like you learned an expensive lesson. Your first clue should have been accepting an assignment from an unknown company. Did you receive a written confirmation before completing the assignment? I don't leave my house without a written confirmation stating the name of the company, the name of the person who called me, and the amount I am being paid.

I'm sorry he's giving you the run around, but I'm sure you will be more cautious when accepting assignments in the future.

Hmmmm, I wonder if he is Jarod from the now defunct 1st Choice Signing Services? That guy was also a piece of work.
