Main Street Signings
I posted the other day wondering if anyone had been paid by them and they keep calling for more. We are about to get pretty far in and wondered if anyone knows anything about them

Strange--come up in Signing Central when not logged in, so
you can't read the replies; yet, when logged in, they don't come up at all. ????

That goes back to that coding thing - if they're not coded
as doing business in your state it won't show up when you're logged in.

What could possibly be the purpose of "coding". It is
hurting us more than it has ever helped us. This coding thing should be stopped immediately. How can NR (Harry) possibly keep up with which company does business in what state. This could change daily. I just got an e-mail to sign up with a company that is now moving into IL. How long will it take NR to know this and correct it?
Please Harry, Remove this coding stuff. It stinks.

Linda - I'm thinking it comes about when a company
is initially added to SC - if the person adding the company doesn't designate it as "nationwide" but only for the state of the person adding them, then the company is only recognized as doing business in that particular state.
Just a guess on my part - I'm probably wrong..

Why not call NotRot & let them know you can't access important company info. This seems to happening a lot lately & there have been many discussions about the "coding" aspect of SC.

Sounds logical Linda and probably right. Regardless...
it just doesn't make sense to have this coding in place like this.
Marilyn, yes we need to call NR and at least get an explanation for the coding.

Yes, and there are two signing services right here in MI that I work for that pay fairly and like clockwork that are not listed! When I've tried to list them I get the message that they are already listed. What's up?

Does someone from the company have a notary
account? That could do it, Dorothy.

Ditto here with trying to list a SS in Florida that I've worked for and pays like clockwork.

I think everyone, yes, everyone, should make their views known regarding this issue. That is a big portion of why we come here.
Everyone needs to hit contact button and send an email. Hard to ignore large numbers.

Re: MainStreet Signings - I received payment today for my
first signing with MainStreet on 4/23. When Jeanie Fairman called she said our "payment policy is 30 days". Thank you MainStreet for paying your notaries as promised.
