Is anyone using one of these in the business?

I got an Acer Aspire One and love it. It's fast, small and I can do everything I need to do on it when on the road. The only thing lacking is an optical drive but I don't need that for what I'm using it for. The battery that came with it only lasts 1 1/2 hours but you can get them with a larger battery or just use the cord . I have NO complaints. So convenient!

I have an Asus Eee PC and it works perfectly! I love that it's small and portable. It took a couple of hours of use for me to get used to the keyboard, but now I can type on it without any problems.
After I purchased the Netbook, I signed up for Sprint's Mobile Broadband and now I can access the Internet anytime.

Glad you asked that...I'm very interested in one of these!
I am going to go around and take a look at them...considering purchasing one now that I have seen them. Thanks to the folks telling us about them.

The price is very good...between $219 and $300
so far in my research. The HP that Sam's sells is $289 but seems to have more power/memory. Just my cursory review.

Sam's is advertising a Dell right now. From what I gather you need to know if they have a 3-cell or 6-cell battery. Some have more battery power.

Thanks for the tip, Marilyn! Good point!
And hard drive size. 8GB is really small. 16GB is marginal. My Laptop which I have only had for about three months now has a 160 gb hd and it already has 25 gb full with software...and system restore.

Yes, My husband purchased the Eee PC 1000HEB weeks ago, and
he loves it. He researched the netbooks and found this one to be highly reccommended.

He said it has a 6 cell (6 hour) battery, with the ATOM processor, but it is mainly for light duty and web surfing. I have used this netbook to print docs. Although it does not have MS word, he downloaded Open Office and I can use his netbook in a pinch.
My husband is a Mac Man, but he wanted something small and inexpensive to surf with while on the bus between home and work. The transit buses here have free WiFi, so this was a perfect fit for him since he didn't want to spend the money for a Macbook. We (the whole family) collectively purchased a Macbook for our 19 yr old as a graduation present last year. Needless to say he LOVES it, and so does my hubby.
Hope this helps, Tonya

The Most Important Question of the Day is...
...where in the world have you been keeping yourself, my good man?
