That is a great thing! It is so sad that many are forking lot of money over to get these modifications done and losing out. Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) has free counseling through their Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling Initiave (FMCI) and refinancing for certain qualified individuals through the HERO (Homeowner Equity Recovery Opportunity) program. All it takes in Pennsylvania is a free call to PHFA.
