Pet Peeve.. Venting

Ah, once again, sitting and waiting for docs to arrive via email for an appt that was scheduled on Friday.
I find it not only frustrating but embarrassing when I have to call a bo and let them know I am running late because I didn't get docs in time.
Can't the lenders/title co's understand how this makes us look? We, the notaries, are usually the only face the bo's see, and it's not fun when we show up with egg on our faces because of late docs.
Just venting..

Your taking too much on yourself. I explain to my bo that the docs are emailed and the mtg company is running behind on their paperwork. Throw it on them or the title company. Anyway when they see your sweet face they calm down don't they?

Seldom is there a time when the docs arrive as promised so when I make appt I always let them know that ahead of time.

I have never once felt late docs were my responsibility nor do I feel it makes us look like we have egg on our face. N E V E R

Must just be a difference in personalities.

Julie's got my attitude. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks as long as I do my best and I know I did.

I don't "own" something unless I actually do "own" it.

Besides...I've got wide shoulders...if somebody needs to "blame" it on me, no problem...bring it. Just make sure you pay me right and on time.
