Reliable Settlement Services
I read, with extreme interest, the messages from June 2008 with regard to the UNcompany as shown in my subject.
I'm a notary who did a signing on March 26 requested by Nick Rulli of this company. I have yet to be paid the lousy $75 for 2 hours work and 20 notarizations for one loan document!!
He keeps saying "the check is going out in a few days", etc., etc.
I don't expect to see it. But what I've learned is that, as a member of the NNA, I could have looked on this site for info on his company. Had I done so I never would have accepted the offer.
DARN !!

Not sure what you mean here but you don't need to be a member of the NNA to use this site .. and if you were told that .... wow...
You should never expect that you won't see your money - you earned it, you deserve it - if you did an error-free job, and your loan DID fund (borrowers didn't cancel) you should pursue it as vigorously as you can - again, it's your money.
"$75 for 2 hours work and 20 notarizations for one loan document!!"... again...wow...

Re: Reliable Settlement Services...P.S.
Someone should add them to SC - they're not showing up for me and I have no info on them -

I hope they over-nighted the docs to you.

I did closing for them in Feb and got runaround for 3 months... they said water damage in office had cost them tremendously and they would send checks out as soon as possible. Finally, after several phone calls and e-mails, I told them I would put negative feedback on every site I could find. I received my payment of $150.00 two weeks later! Be persistent and get down and dirty with them. You did the work and you should be paid! Good Luck!

I completed five closings for this company and got the same water damage run around. I stated three times to me that the check went in the mail and still have not received them. Most closings completed in January and February still not paid. I save all of the contact information including the lenders on all closings I do until I am paid. Since they were all closings for Wachovia, they are now being contacted about the lack of payment in hopes they will make payments in full and then chase Relaible for the refunds or at least do the honorable thing and pay for the work completed for them. If not I will not do any closings for Wachovia. Yes, I also dealt with Luis, Nick and Gary and they should not be allowed to mis-represent themselves anymore.
