How ironic - I just finished sending Shaina Lagotic yet another e-mail inquiry regarding past due payment from March. I've also been in contact with Nikki from Financial Solutions Law Group. I had to e-mail her several times before she responded. She assured me payment would be sent last week and she would contact me when it was sent. Still waiting, and she has not responded to my subsequent e-mails.

I looked them up on the CA Business Portal this morning. Spectra Signing Services is not registered as an LLC or a corporation, but Echo Loans and Financial Solutions Law Group (both were involved with the job I did for Spectra) are both listed as very recently opening up shop:

So this means we can file complaints with the district attorney, department of real estate, state bar assoc. and whoever you file complaints to regarding internet fraud.

I tacked a late charge on a March bill. Small $$ involved here but it is the principle. They got paid. This is going to be a good case for me to test in small claims court. I don't mind the time involved. I am going to name everyone who was involved in the transaction.

Lesson learned here. As of this day, I do not offer loan modification application service.

What's funny is that Shaina called me for another one at the very end of April. I politely told her that I cannot accept additional orders from Spectra since I'm still waiting for payment from March. "Oh, that went out on April 25th" and even "Please send me your invoice and I'll check on it" (did that, but never heard back from her). I still said no. Glad I did.

I'm with you Jacqueline, no more loan mods unless it's an ACTUAL loan mod agreement from the lender. When they called me they said it was a loan mod - about 6 pages. Silly me, I assumed it was a loan mod. Then I received the docs, it was an attorney-client agreement for loan mod services and an authorization to contact the lender on the borrower's behalf.

Shaina's behavior reminds me of someone who is smoking crack. My hard earned dollars went up in smoke.
