Ok. Here is the scoop. I used to do a lot of business with them so I called them when you posted this. They are now called "Netco". Their staff is the same, location...everything but their name.
They are a wonderful company to work with. In fact, I told them to make sure to call me again when they have business in my area.
You should not have any problems with them. I am going to update the listing on signing central as well.

...they should be somewhat aware that some of us members use NotRot SC like the bible! Sorry, but I do look to this list ALOT...and it would be so great if a good company like that were listed correctly...you know?

Well, actually, a lot of the time it is us notaries that put these companies on the list and we are the ones that keep the information current.
In fact, I am the one that initially put this company on this list. :-)

Some companies use this site as well and might have added themselves to the list, but most of the time it is notaries that add them.
I add a lot of companies to the list when they are not there if I have experience with them. I also always put my experiences, good and bad, on the list. This list is important to me as well. I rely heavily on it these days.

Just wondering...did you get a call from Abbie Escrow for a signing? That would be strange since that is not their name anymore.
Why are you asking about the company? That is important for me to know as well. :-)

It is also important to link forum posts to the companies. That doesn't happen automatically, so I also go through and link threads if someone else doesn't. I might need that information later myself so it is to my benefit.

It is up to us notaries to update information if we get it.
I emailed notary rotary to ask them how to change the name since I cannot just change it. As soon as I know how, it will be changed. Basically nothing is different except what they call themselves.

Send me a PM also in regard to why you were asking this so I know. I will check the forum again, but when I receive private messages they email me so I can get right back to you!!

Bought out by Netco?

Netco Title is a nationwide title company (home office in St. Charles, MO). Was Abbie Escrow bought out and taken over by Netco Title? I'm assuming so, since the 12881 Knott St. address shows up on Netco's location profiles. Netco is listed in Signing Central.

Yes

The contact info I had was pretty old when they were based in Orange, CA. That is the phone # that is disconnected. A little research found that they moved to Garden Grove a little while back and then apparently bought out by Netco. It's been a while since I have dealt with them ....
