Probably Maria Gomez with another identity, also fake. What a shame. Then it falls to the vicitms to prove, spend bunches of money and so on. Who was title company clearing title along the way?

In my state you can walk in and file deeds, no title needed. Of course if a mortgage is involved I would think a title company would have to be involved.
A few years ago there was a company filing fake releases, what a mess.
