Why we're mean & nasty

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.
Teach him to fish and you've fed him for a lifetime.
We teach you to fish by telling you to google, search, at least check the last few pages before you ask a question asked yesterday. Visiting the site once a day and spending all of 5 minutes will keep you up to speed on what's being discussed and is preferable to jumping on once a week/month/less often and will go a long way towards resolving your complaint.

What one sees as "mean & nasty" another may see as

being blunt and to the point or offering constructive criticism. IMO, I think, only the weak or sheltered see bluntness as being mean. Put your BIG girl panties on and quit whining.

You mean to tell me that I can't be spoon-fed the information found here sheerly by wanting it??

From what I understand, I now have to come to this forum once a week/month/less often and actually read and research instead of dl'ing what i want, when i want it, not knowing what i really want???

Now come on - that sounds suspiciously like you telling me that I need to actually find out information for myself.

Charles,

A couple of years ago, you made a post about Susie notary wanting information. Time to make it again.

Ya know Glenn, sometimes its just not worth the bandwidth

Some people will never understand. I'm still scratching my head over the ensuing outrage when the answer was freely and accurately given. How much plainer can an answer be. Only someone with a grossly overdeveloped sense of entitlement could possibly misconstrue that post. Alphabits should REALLY get dumped on so that she can tell the difference but with the grammatical structure of her writing I doubt it would sink in.

An example is the poster asking for Quill info

and the poster stated that they could not find anything ... I can only conclude that either 1. That poster is just trying to stir up trouble and yank a few chains or 2. That poster is dumb as dirt. One of the two has to be true. Logically, there is no other logical answer.

Live long and prosper ...

*1. That poster is just trying to stir up trouble and yank a few chains*
