pay as you go air card
I need any information on how to handle closing while I am going to be staying in a condo, believe this or not-no wireless connections....but since the place in only 1 hour away, I can still perform closings if I have to. any information on how to get connections on my laptop.. I hate to have to pay for a 2 year agreement with cell phone providers for just a brief period. I went to best buy-they stated that virgin pay as you would be coming out with something soon, but could not give me a date......any insight would be greatly appreciated........

This is not gonna be a big help, but when all the e-signing jabber was going on, I did find a couple of sites where you could RENT an aircard. Wasn't cheap, but if you only need it for a week or month, better'n 2 years or the cancellation fees. Try googling.

Also, depending on what cell phone you have, you may be able to use it as a modem (broadband connect). There are many phones that have that capability, not just Blackberries. That way you could potentially add it as a feature & take it off again when you don't need it. Most companies do not charge not when you change your plan. LOL

Call your current broadband/wireless phone provider
Tell them what the situation is and see if they can provide temp service...if you have a blackberry, you can use that as a modem for your laptop, too.

"I have a palm centro"
If memory serves me correctly, I believe there is an application for the Palm products to use as a modem - if you have a data plan.
