Not familiar with your particular printer, but I would unplug the printer from the power completely, pull both trays, clean it, inspect everywhere and see if that works. (I take mine out to the garage and blow it out with compressed air). Every time I change toner, I take it out and clean it. Chances are it's just dirt blocking the sensors, or a piece of paper tore off a sheet and is hiding somewhere causing problems. Or something could have fallen in it if you have supplies stored above it.
Of course you could try powering it down, unplug it from the power source, wait a minute or so, plug it back in and see if you get lucky rebooting it.
