e-sinings? I am considering the purchase of a laptop if if it seems like a feasable investment.

Re: This has been discussed repeatedly, incl. yesterday

Not all of us look at this forum everyday. And for good reason.

Well Karen...

the ones that do look at this forum everyday have to look at the same questions over and over and over and over again. Instead of doing a quick search to see if Possibly the question has already been asked and answered, they ask again and agan and again. Rule of thumb for any forum is to "search" first. If you can't find what you are looking for, please do ask. That's what its here for.

like yesterday - one company asked about,

2 other threads later on same page, asked again about same company. (Accountable Agents)

Just: let me go ask, won't look at anythng else because I'm a witch and what I want is what I want.

So - go to your nice friendly forum and get your wrong answers or expect to have some negative thoughts from time to time. Be smart (search first), be stupid ( lazy, let someone else possibly give you wrong answer or one you don't like) - I don't care and I don't want to see your whining either.

e-sinings?

That sounds like something you wouldn't want to do over the internet! (j/k)

I guess that's what sses do to us when they won't pay or e-docs: e-stealing.

Sort of like the rule where the game terminates at the end of the top of the ninth?

Re: e-sinings?

the one i did was actually more $'s, but it took twice as long since most of the docs were still wet signatures...

Re: e-sinings?

Thanks everyone. No typos allowed, and please, please whaever you do DON'T ask anything if all you want is a simple answer. Just look at the energy spent on telling me I misspelled a word and where else to go to get info. Well, that won't happen again. At least not to me.

If you can't laugh at yourself from time to time then no one gets the opportunity to laugh with you.

Sad.

Re: e-sinings?

We all make typos from time to time - and we all also need to find little bits of humor where we can. It's not personal and I'm sure was not intended at your expense. (None of us are immune...) So thank you for the comic relief opportunity. Wink

"DON'T ask anything if all you want is a simple answer."

On this point, I actually agree with you, but probably not for the reason you meant. 'Cause you may not realize that what you're really saying is that you can't be bothered to look up an answer that others have already invested time in posting. Simpler for you, sure, but not simpler for the person answering the question. You expect the knowledgeable folks here to spend time repeating themselves over and over and over, as Julie said? Think about it... And by the way, the simple answers are probably all there for the searching - many times over - and for free, no less!! I'm sure there are tons of people in other fields who would love to have access to the kind of information that's available here for free.

Hello, used to do many, did one this week, but first in 6 months. The laptop decision is all yours...if you feel like you will get enough work to justify the purchase, then go for it. Just realize that you will also have to pay for air card or PDA tethering plan (monthly) if you want to have wifi connection anywhere you can get a cell signal.

Personally I have a high $$$ HP laptop that I use for esign, but also purchased an Acer netbook, much smaller and lighter and 1/4 the price...I have not done an esign with it yet, but no rerason I could not, I use it to print docs on the road when needed.

Do not take the posts to heart, some folks thrive on conflict, some feel they have been here so long they run the show and some may just be having a bad day.

Let me know if I can be of assistance.

Good luck and God bless.
Jim

Who's thriving on conflict?

The question was answered by requesting the party do a search as the topic had been recently discussed. Then a snippy remark was made because they didn't like the fact that they were being requested to do something for themselves. Good grief, how do some of these people claim to be in business for themselves and need so much hand holding and expect everyone to handle them with kid gloves because of their over sensitivity. No wonder so many title companies act like NSA's can't think for themselves to do the job.
