This price is cheaper than the replacement drum, nice basic printer, if you have a dual tray printer
the extra tray will probably work with this one.

Just bought a MFC8480DN

And just printed my first set of doc's. All I can say is "Zip". I loved my MFC8220 but it was squeaking and missing random points on the page. Researching what it could be I decided it was time to upgrade.
It has all the same functions except I am getting 10 pgs more per minute with the new one.

Staples just emailed me

to say they were out of stock, well that took a long time, I was expecting the
thing to be sitting on my porch when I got home...anyway, I was able to
order it through costco ($10 cheaper) and it will probably be here in a couple
of days. I usually have good luck with Staples, maybe they got overwhelmed
with their 6% increase in sales.
