I was just contacted by these cockroaches. I check NotaryRotary site for reviews and I declined offer unless they could explain the negative review. Thank-you guys for helping me to remain "SuckerFree" Then I notice on the email they are stating "BBB Accrdredited Business" so I checked BBB website not surprising there not on their so I called BBB stayed on hold for 11 minutes and had them check.....not surprising there not :BBB accredredited" The BBB wanted the email to send a cease and desist letter. Which I emailed before I hung up the phone. That is the very least I could do to thank all the other that took that lost of income and warned me.

They explained their reviews to me once by saying, (quoted from their e-mail) "We do well over 300 signing per month and I don’t see nearly that many complaints online…."

I responded by copying and pasting their plethora of poor ratings and comments from Signing Central. Their response:

"Good for you…"

That's precisely why we participate in this forum & Signing Central. It is a collective effort to help everyone avoid the deadbeats. IMO the BBB thing is a constant joke. I know some other companies I have difficulty collecting from that have A- status with BBB. I've also had notaries tell me to report them to the BBB. It's a waste of effort, IMO. The BBB is not a collection agency.
I'm glad to hear you didn't get stung by DFS. I have done work for them, but only via Paypal upfront.

I reported them to the BBB as well. I finally got paid for a closing I did in August. They kept telling me payment was in the mail. I finally got ahold of a real person, she said I dont know what happened, but promised me I would get paid. I did finally get a check after alot of emailing and badgering. I will never again do business with the company.

I just sent them a nasty email for being a crappy SS. I never got paid for a signing I did on 4/25/08. I finally gave up on them. I can't believe they are still in business.

You might want to check again....

I just ran their name thru the local bbb and it shows them as being accredited...
