HP 3050

I have tried three different toner cartridges and I am still getting the long black line down the left side of the page. Thought I remembered a thread on this a few days ago but could not find it. Any information would be appreciated.

I've had that happen with the 3050 when there is a piece of dirt on the feed. Try cleaning the rollers with some alcohol & using some canned air.

Some printers also have a setting you can select from the menu to clean the printer. I have the old HP 3330, which I think does have that feature, so yours may too. Reminds me that I'm probably way overdue to run it!!

Wow, I wish I had one like that - kinds of like a dishwasher for printers? LOL. That is one thing I hate to clean.

Reminds me of a joke from a humdred years ago when I was a kid...
