Houselooker.net, anyone else get an email regarding this
"opportunity" and if so what do you think about it? It appears to be for propety inspections. Any comments? Thx!

Their reply e-mail states that they will be launching at the first of the year. Nothing to lose by signing up.

I signed up....
$45 to take 5-6 photos and answer 6-8 questions? Just keep my travel radius fairly local and it doesn't sound too bad.

I did too...
Same thought process. Their 'sample' looked easy enough. Just limit the area to my immediate vicinity and it should be okay. Nothing to lose.

Nothing to lose as long as
we understand each and every assignment individually and assign a fee accordingly. $45 doesn't buy much distance. One zip code in my county can be larger in area than most of the counties in the country and people from other areas sometimes don't understand the logistics of San Bernardino county. But it doesn't hurt to give it a try, we can always say no to $45 for a 200 mile round trip.

Re: Nothing to lose as long as
You never know. It may be that the "picture" assignment is on the way or near to where you have to go for some other reason (like a loan signing). The diversion may fit in your schedule nicely and provide a bit of extra, unanticipated income. This is true especially if we're given a time window of a few days to complete an assignment.

Re: Nothing to lose as long as
I got the email too and I want to sign up. But it just bugs me that the sign-up page is not encrypted. I know I'm not entering any credit card info - but should I be concerned?
I also got the email from Notarydb. I did not sign up with them because (1) the email came from "admin"....who is admin? (2) They are elusive and are completely hidden. No contact info of any way. I shouldn't have to do detective work and traces to find out their location, phone numbers or the owners of Notarydb. That REALLY bothered me and I don't care that's it's free to the first 1,000.
Do I have cause to be concerned when sign-up pages are not encrypted?

Lisa, I didn't even look at all that on that
new database page.....what I did see is (a) no credit card info given; (b) no info given that isn't already available; and (c) think there's only one other notary listed in a 30 mile radius of me!! Hoping I can say Cha..Ching!!

You're probably right....what do you think Notarydb and no info on the elusive "admin"?

Like I said - they didn't ask for any info for future
payment - they didn't require cc info or some method of payment - they have my name, address, telephone number..that's it - and all that's easy enough to find...no info I'm really worried about. Remember, you advertise you're out there...lock stock and barrel.

Technical Contact: Subramanian, Jayamangalam 3344 Amy Dr Corona, California 92882 United States (951) 256-0587 Fax --
This person owns at least 12 other domain names, including http://www.moneytalkblog.com/, a blog devoted to earning money online.
I found some of those domains, I'll PM them to you if you want. They're all along the same line... a proliferation of quick, somewhat poorly designed blog style sites with Google Ads meant to make money.
